Kickback - Et Le Diable Rit Avec Nous
2012 sera l'occasion de fêter les 20 ans de Kickback. De l'eau a coulé sous les ponts depuis leur demo tape " The Meaning Of Pain". Les parisiens avaient déjà d'ores et déjà surpris tout le monde avec "No Surrender" sorti en 2009, entre hardcore sombre et black métal. Il faut croire qu'ils ont trouvé leur nouveau créneau car "Et Le Diable Rit Avec Nous" marche sur les pas de son grand frère. Surement le groupe hardcore français le plus emblématique, toujours avec cette attitude "je m'en branle" et cette haine à l'état pur. Que tu aies un point américain tatoué sur le torse ou les cheveux long et des rangers, "Et Le Diable Rit Avec Nous" va te mettre le revers de la gifle du précédent album.

Kickback est revenu avec "No Surrender", après 9ans d'absence, pour pilonner le hardcore français comme ils l'on si bien fait par le passé. En constante évolution et réinventant sans cesse leur musique, les gars de Kickback ont coupé la chique a tout le monde avec ce nouvel album, entre hardcore sombre et black métal. Surement le groupe hardcore français le plus emblématique, toujours avec cette attitude "je m'en branle" et cette haine à l'état pur. Sex Before Suicide est de retour avec 44 pages en anglais et toujours la même équipe aux manettes : Raph Gordon ( Santa Cruz / The Night Stalkers), Antoine Zero et Matt Criminal ( DJ Criminal / Freak City Design).On y retrouve des interviews de UV RACE (punk teubé de Melbourne, Aussie. Avec DX du fanzine Distort et de Total Control/Straight Jacket Nation.), FNU RONNIES (Lo-fi noise punk de Space, USA), POISON IDEA (Une longue interview faite de citations venant de multiples vielles interviews de la fin des 80's/début 90's). Des dessins et deux pages de BD faits par Donnie Ka. Egalement des articles sur un des bluesmen les plus sous-estimés, Lightnin' Hopkins, sur des 7"s de GG Allin, des crimes dégueux de Brest (France), et enfin sur les Mole People, habitants des tunnels de NYC. On termine par les traditionnelles (quoique pas tant que ça avec SBS !) chroniques de disques / films / livres. Lire ce zine est une véritable expérience !

Good Times est un jeune groupe du sud du New Jersey qui m'a rendu dingue dès la première écoute ! "Shorter.Faster.Radder" c'est leur nouveau 7", 6 morceaux de hardcore rageur et de type "droit dans ta face" dans la veine de Right Brigade /Rotting Out / Minority Unit / Stay Hungry et un paquet d'autres groupes qui font les choses à fond.

Snot Rocket records a pressé 500 copies en vinyle noir et c'est ici une version limitée à 31 exemplaires, avec labels et pochettes sérigraphiées différents, dispo exclusivement sur Straight & Alert.

Peace viennent de Baltimore et balancent 5 morceaux de hardcore typé youth crew, avec l'urgence des groupes signés chez Revelation et Discord records 25 ans plus tôt. Et si ça tire sur The First Step c'est normal… c'est l'ex chanteur du groupe, Stephen St.Germain, qui a repris le micro ici encore.
