Voici un bon bol d'air frais façon hardcore punk. Ce EP de Sectarian Violence, sur Grave Mistakes records, est le résultat d'une union intercontinentale entre des ricains (Coke Bust), anglais (Never Again), et suédois (Stay Hungry). C'est rapide, brut et bien vénère. Ils tirent leurs influences de groupes 80's ala The Abused, Lifes Blood, Negative Approach ou Agnostic Front des débuts. Au final ça donne quelque chose entre Violent Minds et Dead Stop. Du speed, des breaks de timbrés et des paroles engagées. Hardcore .Punk. 2012.

Animal Instinct vient de la région de Zurich (Suisse) et est composé de mecs de Solid Ground, Vale Tudo, Play to Destroy, et Liferide. Après un 7"époustouflant , ces 11 nouveaux morceaux sont d'un gros gros niveau. Du NYHC comme dans les 80's. Pense à la compile WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, Outburst, Raw Deal et Breakdown. Ce n'est donc pas une grosse surprise si je te dis qu'ils font une reprise de Killing Time sur ce LP. New York est en Suisse.

Nantes Resilience c'est du Hardcore 90's métallisant aux influences NYHC des 80's. ( Gut Instinct, Rest In Pieces, Terrorzone…) . Après un break de 3 ans ils devraient être de retour dans la partie sous peu. Après un EP prometteur en 2010, ils reviennent en 2012 avec un premier LP " Storms And Promises". 9 morceaux de hardcore sombre et mélodique, avec un son puissant et des paroles poignantes. Short Days – Demo 2012
Short Days fait partie de ces quelques groupes qui me laissent penser qu'en France aussi on sait faire de la bonne musique. Les lillois de la team Idiot Talk, AnxietyAttack, Build Me A Bomb records ont monté ce groupe aux riffs incroyablement catchy. Ca lorgne du côté SOCIAL CIRCKLE, RED DONS ou THE OBSERVERS avec une pointe de 7 SECONDS. Voici leur démo 4 titres, sortie sur Yakkuzi tape recs. J'attends la suite avec grande impatience !

Blkout - Point Of No Return
Blkout! viennent d'Australie et jouent du NYHC qui tape dur, quelque part entre du Madball des débuts , Breakdown, Cro Mags et Dirty Money. Du groove et des breaks dévastateurs. "Point Of No Return" est leur nouvel album, une co-prod des labels Resist Records (Australie), Six Feet Under (USA) et Demons Run Amok (Europe).

Hardside - 2009 – 2011
San Antonio, Texas. C'est ici que se trouve le fief de Hardside. Groupe de Hardcore brut et sans chichis ala Biohazard, Meurader, early Hatebreed et Leeway. Existant depuis seulement 2009, leur démo a eu un réel impact sur le net et a fait rapidement parler d'eux. Avant de sortir un LP prévu pour cet été, les texans mettent sur 12" leur démo "Pulse", le 7" "Crucified" et un morceau inédit uniquement dispo sur ce disque.
